About us
In 1961 grandparents, Mimi and Danilo Kosmač have bought old inn "Pr'Tilih" ("At Tilih's") in Rateče near Škofja Loka, which had been operating since 1870. They renamed the inn "Pri Danilu ('"At Danilo's") and started a brand new story emphasized by local cuisine.

Wine is our passion. Danilo has a special room, chilled to 18°C, suitable for storing wines. Our wide range of over 750 different labels of selected Slovenian and world-renowned foreign winemakers, is the selection of Gašper Čarman – twice named Slovenia's Sommelier of the Year. The selection of wines will complement and enrich your selected dishes and enable you to experience new wine worlds.
